Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced on Thursday that the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved her request for a statewide Economic Injury Disaster Loan declaration.
The disaster loan declaration means that small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and nonprofits that have had substantial economic losses as a result of the coronavirus outbreak can apply for low-interest loans.
