CCRT also provides other financial services such as: help with security deposit into a first home, preventing eviction, preventing utility shut-offs, birth certificates, State ID, gently used furniture and household items.

Formed 16 years ago by the 10 parishes that comprise the Pontiac Area Vicariate of Detroit Archdiocese, CCRT receives support and collaborates from those parishes and other Oakland County organizations. Center for Success provides structured after school programming for the length of the school year for Kindergarten through 5th grade elementary students. The method of delivering this program to the youth is through rigorous after school programs that remove any barriers to student’s commitment to regular attendance. We transport students from locations throughout the city if necessary, provide meals during each session, and encourage parent and family participation. Our dedicated, skilled staff and mentors create a supportive, literacy-rich environment that identifies and celebrates student strengths and creates opportunities for students to thrive academically. Partner enrichment programs integrate into sessions for 8 -10 week segments to provide lessons on cooking, robotics and engineering, architecture, music, arts, and a variety of other youth identified topics. Through structured interventions specific to each learner, we support academic and literacy needs through relationships, exposure and goal setting. We provide space and structure for students to engage in a variety of read-aloud and literacy game activities. Our intention is to pave the way for lifelong, engaged learning.

More than 280 committed mentors are trained and engaged in weekly sessions to deliver individualized lessons to each student. Each Center engages program partners to bring additional enrichment activities and projects that ignite our students drive to succeed.
